BACKGROUND: In a continued effort to educate the public about streetcar safety, the DC Streetcar Outreach team will conduct on-the-ground outreach during rush hour at key locations along the system’s initial line, H Street/Benning Road on Wednesdays.  The team will engage citizens in conversations and distribute DC Streetcar-related safety information and collateral.  The goal is to expose people who work, live and commute through the corridor to important information and safety reminders to keep them safe as they interact with DC Streetcar.
