(Washington, DC) – DC Streetcar will operate regular service hours during the upcoming holidays, with the exception of Christmas Day (December 25) when the DC Streetcar will not be operating along the H Street/Benning Road corridor.

Monday, December 26 and Monday, January 2 are federal holidays during which District and federal government offices will be closed. The DC Streetcar will operate on a regular schedule on these days with 10- to 15-minute headways and service from 6 am through midnight.

Passengers can plan their trips on the H/Benning Line with tools on DC Streetcar’s website (http://dcstreetcar.com/riding/how-to-ride/), such as the DC Streetcar tracker, schedule and map.

  • Saturday, December 24 (Christmas Eve)
    8 am – 2 am
  • Sunday, December 25  (Christmas Day)
  • Monday, December 26
    6 am – midnight
  • Saturday, December 31 (New Year’s Eve)
    8 am – 2 am
  • Sunday, January 1 (New Year’s Day)
    8 am – 10 pm
  • Monday, January 2
    6 am – midnight
